According to Science-‘Earth rotates around its own axis and revolves around sun.’Is this statement contradictory to the saying of Quraan?

There is no contradiction. In fact the Quran is not a book of science but it contains many statements regarding the apparent condition of the universe for lesson and example. The subject of the Quran is to guide mankind to recognize the Creator of the universe. As far as what the scientists say it is also not perfect and irrefutable, the theories keep on changing. Moreover, the scientists never aim at lesson and recognition of the Creator of the universe, they follow totally different direction.
