I am working in travel agency as accountant and agency owners are muslims and they are holding overdaraft account in bank and bank charge interest on overdaraft. and as a accountant i have to maintain bank account and have to do bank reconceliation and have to pass interest entries in computer. doing so is halal or haram.

It is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has accursed the ones who eat interest, feed interest, write accounts of interest and those who bear witness to it. He said that they are equal in sin. If you record the accounts of interest in computer you will also fall in the same category. This work will be haram for you and the salary also will be haram.
