Is it permissible in Islamic law for a man to have sexual relations with his slave without being married?

I would like to know if one person has a sllave that works for them is it ok for the man of the house to have sex with the slave without being married to her if you can tell me yes or no and in the hanefi books where dos it talk about these.

It is haram to have sex with ones housemaid since she is servant not a slave girl.
