Is it a sin to disobey husband & in-laws if they insist on eating non-veg food which you don’t like?

Assalaam ale kum, I m a married woman. Pls answer my query– I m vegetrian n sometime my husband and in laws insist me to eat non vegetarian item which i dont like though i cook for him. Am i doing sin by disobeying my husband n others? Kindly reply- Jazakallah

Answer

(Fatwa: 1672/1367=L/1429)

You shall not be regarded sinful for being disobedient, since you naturally do not like to eat meat. However, it is not good to be habitual of avoiding a lawful thing; you should gradually take to eating it.
