Is health insurance allowed in Islam?

Assalamu Aleykum I am a surgeon working in Mohali,Punjab 1.Recently I got health Insurance of my family.Is it Allowed in Islam? 2.I am planning to buy car on loan.Is allowed in Islam?

Answer

(Fatwa: 850/733=B/1429)

(1) No, As per Islam it is impermissible.

(2) Paying money in instalment with interest on buying a car on loan is not allowed. If you fix all the instalments including interest as total price of the car and purchase the car on the total price then keep on paying the instalments. In this way, buying a car will be permissible.
