Is it right for a hafiz-e-quran who studied in madrasa and college to become ahl-e-hadis after some people’s influence?

A hafiz-e-quran along with me studied in madrasa & is also studying in college from begining he was not ahl-e-hadis (gair muqallid). Now after some people’s sayings he has become ahl-e-hadis.he is sayig what he is doing is not wrong.is he right in becoming so? or not? Please give details.

Ask your friend why he turned Ahl-e-Hadith and what are the doubts created in his mind regarding Hanafi Maslak. Write all the details and submit the question again. Then, we shall try to give you a satisfactory reply, in-sha-Allah. And, in your area, if there is any local Hanafi Aalim take your friend to him so that he may satisfy him with proofs from the Quran and Hadith.
