Answer

(Fatwa: 621/520/B=1432)

Barelvi people stand up due to their ignorant and false belief. They stand with the belief that the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) visits the meeting, while it is very silly and baseless belief. The Barelvi school of thought believes the holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to be present everywhere, whereas this belief is specific with Almighty Allah, no one except Allah is omnipresent. A person with such a belief shall be out of the fold of Islam. We do not need to stand following the Barelvi people. You should read durood and salam extensively and read it sitting with sincerity and dedication.
