How did Prophet SAW know exactly where Abu Jahl would be killed and when before the Battle of Badr?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
If Allah alone knows who will die at what time and at which place, then how come prophet SAW said before Battle of Badr that Abu Jahl will die tomorrow and even showed the place where he would die?

Answer

(Fatwa: 653/653/M=1431)

Of course, only Almighty Allah knows where and when a man is going to die. But if Allah informs any of His Prophet through wahy (revelation), then that Prophet too can foretell. And due to it the Prophet cannot be called Alim al-ghaib (having knowledge of unseen) and neither ilam al-ghaib (unseen) of Almighty Allah will be denied. So on the occasion of Badar War, Almighty Allah revealed the whole detail regarding the death of Abu Jahl through wahy.
