Can my wife travel during her MC and enter ihram from outside the Haram?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am planning to do umrah with my wife,if her period(MC) comes before we leave for umrah 1.Can she travel without intenion of umrah and stay in Makkah till completion of period and after completion of MC how she has to do umrah(From which place she has to go into ehram? 2.In this MC period upto what distance she can go-Can she go upto gate of Haram building or she has to stay on road on boundery of open space outside of haram?

Answer

(Fatwa: 1168/943/B=1431)

In this state too she should wear the ihram from miqat, but she will not offer the two rakah salah and will not perform tawaf and sa’i after reaching Makkah. When the menstruation stops, she will perform her umrah after doing ghusl i.e. she will do tawaf of Ka’ba, then sa’i between Safa and Marwa. She can stay in Makkah in the state of menstruation; but she should not enter in Masjid-e-Haram.
