Is it necessary to use toilet paper after urinating?

After urinating, is it compulsory to dry up the urinary part of the body with the help of a toilet paper, before washing it with water? Is it also compulsory to wipe the excretory hole with toilet paper before washing it with water?

Answer

(Fatwa: 786/786=J)

(1) and (2) It is not necessary but better to do so:

قال فی رد المحتار 1/550: ثم اعلم ان الجمع بین الماء والحجر أفضل ۔۔۔ الخ
