Is earning from a job done with knowledge halal or haram if the student is given answers to exams?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
My question is that I came to know about a college in which the students pay the college for the admission to sit in the exams and get certificate. Now the college helps the student to pass in the exams without making real efforts, which means the college itself shows the answers of the question papers in the examinations to the students so that the students easily gets pass with flying marks. So the college uses wrong ways to pass the students and the students use wrong ways to get the degree or diploma. Now based on the above, if the student knows his job and work or if the student learns his job and work very well, will the earning of such student be halal or haram? And what if the student does not know his job and work?

Answer

(Fatwa: 381/223/D=1433)

If that person is fulfilling his assigned job completely and has the ability to perform his duty perfectly then the salary received from this job shall be halal. His salary shall not be termed as haram.
However, they shall be sinful for illegal copying in exam. Also they shall be sinful if they committed any kind of deceit.
