What is the meaning of the name “Zeeshan” and is it permissible to take pride in it?

My name is Syed Zeeshanul Haq my friends and my relatives call me Zeeshan. What is its meaning and is it better to call this name or any kind of bigness (takabbur) which is against Shariah laws. Please clarify.

Zishanul Haque is not a correct name. Only Zishan is correct. It means magnificent. It is also not a good name; it bears the reflection of praise and pride. Instead, if you keep any other name like Burhan, Arman, Farman, etc then it is better.
