Assalamalaikum What are islamic opinion for those persons who are harassing a woman and her parents for dowry and threatning her and her parent for divorce in case their demands will not be fulfilled. Those person calling her AS RANDI AND TAWAIF.

It is extremely contemptuous and abhorring to harass wife and her parents for dowry or threaten her to divorce in case the demand was not met. Islam has no room for such demands. It is unlawful and haram to term a woman as randi or tawaif (prostitute) without a solid proof. They must do taubah and seek pardon.
