Can we stand to urinate in western toilets?

In western type toilets we can’t sit for urine in that case can we stand for passing urine? Pls explain.

Answer

(Fatwa: 530/530=M/1429)

Besides western style toilet, if there is no traditional Indian type of toilet where you can urinate, then you should try to do it sitting in the same toilet, if it is difficult then it is allowable to do it standing as well by protecting the clothes and body from the urine sprays.
