As managing the requirement of life is necessary, in the same way paying the rights of parents, wife and children is too necessary. It is mentioned in a hadith that the holy Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) prohibited some sahaba from excessive prayers and said:

إن لنفسك عليك حقا ، ولزوجك عليك حقا

You have some rights on yourself, and your wife has some rights on you. Subsequently, with self relief and comfort, it is necessary to pass time with wife and give her time for enjoyment is her right. If you are under the burden of loan, try to pay it but not to an extant that the rights of others are missed. When you work for seven days in a week till late night, then it is obvious that you do not get enough time to comfort yourself and your family. Or disclose your problem to your family members and get their favour, then it is too right.
