Is the money I earn from my job at Thomson Reuters Halal or impure?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
As salaamualaikum wrwb Dear Mufti Saab, I work for company called Thomson Reuters. Its a company that provides financial news services to all the big time Financial Instututions ,Banks across the whole world. They have thier own software which is sold to these customers so that they can view all the informationabout Shares of all Halal and Haraam companies, Foreign Exchange and all bonds (fixed income group ie you invest some money and in return earn thorough interest or dividend). So these Banks buy these software to see the market trend and also after geeting inputs from this tools they to buy sell these bonds and trade on shares. Thomson Reuters does not provide and baised news about any Bond or share of the different companies in the market. But only broadcast all the above data to these banks who can run thier business on thier own terms. I work as Software Engineer who will prepare these software for Thomson and also provide better solutions to market this product to the whole Financial world. I have thought that in a way (indirectly) I am supporting the Banks and all Financial institutions to grow or run thier business. Kindly clarify if the money i earn out of these job is completely Halaal or impure.

(Fatwa: 1290/266=TL/1430)

The abovementioned job is lawful and its income is also halal. There is no wrong in developing software only, but those who use it in unlawful ways will be sinful.
