Do I need to give damm for not observing Ihram rules while in Hayd?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullah, A few years ago, I went for Umrah. When over there, my hayd started and I was not able to perform Umrah. I went with a group of people and so we went to Madinah and Taif and Al-Ulaa. When we came back from these places we passed through the miqats three different times. I did not know that I am supposed to observe the rules of Ihram even though I was in Hayd so I did all the things such as apply perfume and let cloth touch my face and brushed my hair and some came out, etc. So I just acted like a normal person and never realized I was supposed to observe rules of Ihram. I found out last year about that, so what do I do? Do I have to give damm?

Answer

(Fatwa: 812=575/H)

When you passed by Meeqat for the first time or second time or third time, did you put on Ihraam or you were already in Ihraam?

Did you perform any Umrah during this journey?

While returning home (US) did you get Halal by cutting a portion of your hair or not?

When you went against the rules of Ihraam (like applying perfume, covering face, combing hair with some of then came out etc), before being Halal or after that?

First, please write clearly the above points in detail then in-sha-Allah the ruling on damm (slaughtering of animal as fine) will be elaborated.
