Can a madrasa secretary use madrasa funds for personal gain, then repay with interest?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
A person who is secretary of a madrasa utilized madrasa money in his own business, Later on he clarified that he paid back the money with interest. What does Shariah say about it?

Answer

(Fatwa: 1275/1275/M=1432)

The money of madrasa is a trust with the secretary of the madrasa. It is breach of trust to use it in one’s business and it is compound sin to return it with interest.
