What is the iddah period for a woman who converts to Islam?

A hindu married women age 32 yrs in india converts to islam. 1)is there any iddah period for her after embracing islam? 2)when can she married a muslim man?what should be the waiting period? 3)without divorcing his non muslim husband can she immediately marry muslim man after converting to islam?

(Fatwa: 2112/B=1708/tb=1431)

According to Hadhrat Imam Abu Yusuf and Imam Muhammad (رحمهما الله) she should complete three menstruations as iddah besides three more menstruating periods i.e. she can marry other man after passing six menstruating periods. This is preferable ruling.
