Which surahs are proven from hadith to be recited daily and which are from weak hadith?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I have heard that is beneficial to recite certain surahs at night time like surah al-Waqiah and Mulk. Could you confirm which surahs are proven from hadith that should be recited daily, as certain surahs I have heard people say are from weak hadith so just wanted to know which you advise to recite daily.

Yes, the virtues of abovementioned Surahs are proved from Hadith. One should regularly recite them. Weak Hadith is reliable in the chapter of virtues provided the weakness is not of severe types. The virtues of the said Surahs are mentioned in the reliable and authentic books of Hadith. It is recorded in Shu’ab al-Iman of Imam Bayhaqi:

Abdullah Ibn Masood (rz) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever recites Surah al-Waqiah every night, he will never be afflicted by poverty. And Ibn Masood (rz) used to order his daughters to read it every night.”  (Shu’ab al-Iman 4/120, number 2269).

And the following is reported about Surah Mulk:

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)  that the Prophet(may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)said: “There is a Surah in the Qur’an, with thirty verses, which will intercede for its companion (the one who recites it) until he is forgiven. This Surah is: Tabarakal-ladhi.” (Ibn Majah Number 3786, Musnad Ishaaq Bin Rahviyah, Number 122)
