Is it allowed to greet Salam in an empty showroom/shop?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Can we greet salam in empty showroom or empty shop? Actually I am in a company where there is Islamic culture. Most of the time when we open the showroom I greet salam but one of my friend told it is not right to greet salam in empty shop. Please let me know what does Islam say in this matter?

You may also greet while entering an empty house or shop, but in the following way:

Allah knows Best!
