Can people get their money back from the trust if the masjid isn’t built at the original location?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
A charitable trust started collecting the donation for a masjid to be built at a particular location, but now the masjid is not being built at that place so some people want their money back because the masjid is not being built at original place for which they donated the money. Do people have right to take their money back and does the trust have to give their money back? Please reply soon.

That money has yet not been waqf (endowed) for the mosque hence the money can be returned to those who want their money back.
