Is it permissible to visit fortune-tellers and to practice other non-Shariah acts?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
They got married in August 16. While going through the emails of her husband she come across with the mails which was sent by her husband to one of the Hindu cleric explaining the difficulty for getting job. He also mentioned in the mail that he had approached to Maulana they have not given any satisfactory solution but looted him with money. In second mail he thanks them by doing your spell I got the job on third day and I will pay your amount shortly. After that he had paid some amount also. These mail are sent in June 2015 and after that in May 2017 again sent a mail to talk to them about some issues. Now she is not able to excess the mail hence do not know what is the status as of date. He used to address them like “My Mother”, “Har Har Mahadev”. When she questioned he avoided to talk. She try to convince that this is shirk and whatever problem we face should address to Allah SWT also he has performed umrah, prays salah whenever he wishes to and in the month of Ramadan he didn’t perform continuous three Friday salah also he has intentions to hajj also he never stops his wife from performing salah and reciting Quran but he is not giving any assurance not ready to talk about it. She shared the things with her parents. When the parents asked him he refused the things straight away and saying it is lie. Now what she has to do to correct him what is the status of marriage last what action she has to take.

It is recorded in Hadith whoever visited a fortune-teller and believed him then he committed kufr. It is wajib for him to do taubah and istighfar. As per the question, your husband committed this act, thus it is necessary to renew iman and nikah. He must not visit any fortune-teller etc in future and put trust only in Allah.
