(Fatwa: 728/563/D=8/1438)
It is fardh to say takbir-e-tahrimah, whether by pronouncing Allah Akbar or Allah Azam, as salah will not be valid without takbir-e-tahrimah.
قال فى الدر من فرائضها التى لا تصح بدونها التحريمة قائماً – قوله التحريمة المراد بها جملة ذكر خالص مثل الله اكبر (الدر مع الرد ج 1 ص 326)
