I am working in a software company in Delhi, India. On some occasions my company offers a party, in this few members of my company take alcohol and chicken (not sure halal or not). At these types of places I used to eat vegetarian + water (no soft drinks too). What can I do, can I ignore these parties or eating vegetarian is right thing? (Vegetarian + alcohol is on same table too.) Please show me the way what can I do.

In the above mentioned case, it is lawful for you to use water and vegetable and you should do so out of precaution. It should be noted that if the party has practices that are against the Shariah then it is not lawful to participate in it.
