What is the Islamic stance on eating food at families who consume pork and alcohol?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Can we eat food at a family who sometimes eat pork and drink alcohol as that family is very close to me?

(Fatwa: 124/127/SN=3/1438)

It is makrooh to share food with non-Muslim. If by chance one has to eat once or twice due to compulsion then it is not a sin provided their food and vessels are pure or one does not know about their impurity. If one knows that the utensil is impure or any impure and haram thing is mixed with the food then it is absolutely unlawful to eat it. Hence you should avoid eating with such a family to a great extent. It is recorded in Fatawa Hindiya:

Allah knows Best!
