Can two rakahs of sunnat be prayed after fardh salah in Fajr prayers?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
(1) Can two rakahs of sunnat be prayed after fardh salah in Fajr prayers?
(2) Once the Imam has started fardh salah of Fajr, can we pray sunnat at that time, otherwise at what time we can pray it?

(1) No, it is forbidden to offer the sunnat and nafl salah after Fajr salah till the sun raises high.

If someone misses his Fajr sunnah then he may offer it after the sun has risen till zawal (midday), Imam Muhammad (may Allah have mercy upon him) has preferred it.

(2) It is makrooh tahrimi to offer sunnat salah adjacent to the saf or behind the saf without a barrier for the person who comes at a time when the jamat has already started. Rather in this case he should offer it in the outer part of the mosque or in the verandah of the mosque or at a distance from the saf in the corner of the mosque or behind some column. (Hashiya al-Tahtawi alal Maraqi)
