Can I use medical leave for Hajj if I don’t have enough paid leave?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am a govt. officer and I am going for Hajj in-shaAllah for this year. For this I need at least 40 days leave to complete the Hajj rites. I am not having enough paid leave on balance . My question , whether I am allowed as per the Shariah to avail medical leave as I am having enough medical leave on my account.

If you may be granted causal leave as per the rules and regulations then you should go for Hajj on causal leave only. No matter in such a case you do not get the salary of all or some days as it is not lawful to get fake medical certificate while one is not sick. It is lie, deceit and treachery which in no way is allowed in Islam.
