I have asked some money from my friend for some days as I need it. He gave it to me. But now when I am returning total money to him, he do not takes return and says it do not require to return. What should I do?

You are not asked to return the amount to your friend when he said that you do not need to return the amount to him. It is as if he has remitted the debt. The debt is remitted in case one calls it off.
