What is the interest rate for a deceased non-muslim driver’s family?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
One of my relatives who is not financially strong, had kept a non-Muslim driver for his business. The driver died in an accident and his family filed a complaint in the court. The court’s hearing is yet to be declared but there is a chance that my relative will have to pay a compensation of a few lakh rupees to the drivers family. My question is that can my relative give interest money to the driver’s family? And can other relatives help him by giving their interest money to him for this purpose?
And I also wanted to ask you another question. I have a land which is going to be used for commercial purpose. So can I give a part of my land for setting up an ATM machine? Is it allowed in Islam?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 1139/1156/L=09/1436)

(1) In the above mentioned case, it is not lawful for the said person to use interest money for paying the compensation to the driver family. However, if he pays the compensation by taking debt and he himself turns debtor and eligible for zakah then it shall be lawful for others to give him interest money without the intention of reward.
(2) It is allowable to give one’s land to install ATM machine. However, it is not desired.
