What should be done with a Masjid in a village with no Muslims & water problems?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I would like to ask a question regarding the Masjid. In our village there was a masjid it was constructed before 25 years, now no Muslim people are staying in that village. But masjid is there and no one is there to tell azan and perform salah, but no one is ready to take care of the masjid because of water problem and no Muslims are available in that village. So, please suggest me what we have to do and issue me the fatwa for act.

(Fatwa: 221/221/M=03/1436)

A place which once becomes Shariah mosque will remain a mosque till the Day of Judgment. Hence it should be protected in any way and salah should be offered there.
