Should I offer Jumuah salah at the nearby masjid or travel 1.5 km for five time salah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I study at IIT Patna. There is a masjid at 200 meter distance where only Jumuah salah is offered. Other masjid is at 1.5 km distance where five time salah and Jumuah is offered. In this area construction of masjid is not allowed. Should I offer Jumuah salah at nearby masjid or go for 1.5 km for other masjid where five time salah is offered. Also the nearby masjid is legally not a masjid but a temporary arrangement.

If all the conditions necessary for the validation of Jumuah prayer are found then you may offer Jumuah salah in that temporary mosque which is located at the distance of 200 meters. It is not a condition for the validation of Jumuah prayer that five times salah are offered in the mosque. But if there is no problem then you should offer Jumuah salah in the Shariah mosque which is located at the distance of 1.5 km as by doing so you will get the reward of offering salah in Shariah mosque.
