Zakah on 100g gold & 2.5g paid last year? 30g gold & Rs. 20,000 cash?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
If I have 100 gram of gold last 2 years and I paid 2.5 gm as zakah last year. Then it is necessary to pay this time 2.5 gm as zakah? Also if I have cash Rs. 20000/- and gold of 30 gm, then shall I need to pay zakah? Please clarify me.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 1206/1206/M=09/1435)

(1) Last year you paid 2.5 gram gold as zakah out of 100 gram gold, in this case now you have 97.5 gram gold. If it is so then this year you should pay fortieth part of the remaining gold as zakah. And if last year you paid the zakah of 100 gram gold by separate amount and this year that gold is in your possession as same then in such case you will have to pay the zakah of total 100 gram gold.
(2) In this case you will have to pay the zakah of cash amount and the gold.
