How should a Hanafi living in a Maliki country perform Asr salah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I strictly follow the Hanafi madhhab. Hanafi Asr time is not the same as that of the other madhhabs. I am living in a country (Ghana) that follows Maliki madhhab and its Asr time is followed in every masjid throughout the country.
According to some scholars of the Hanafi madhhab, one cannot perform Asr salah at Shafi’i or Maliki time. Even if one performs Asr salah in Jamah one must repeat it. One cannot lead the salah as an Imam at Shafi’i Asr time. There is no Daruurah in this case. What do I do? Please your comment.

According to the preferred saying of Hanafi Fiqh, the time of Asr starts when the shade of each thing becomes two mithl other than its original shade. The time of Zuhr ends after mithlain (two mithl) and the Asr time starts. According to Shafi’i Fiqh, the time of Asr starts after mithl awwal. Imam Abu Yusuf and Imam Muhammad also have the same opinion as of Imam Shafi’i. If you have offered Asr salah as per Shafi’i time then it is not necessary to re-offer it. However, if there are more than one Hanafi people then you should permanently try to offer Asr salah as per Hanafi time with separate jamah.
