Is it lawful to avoid the part of the application which deals in interest-based communications?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
(1) I work in Bangalore and got an offer for an insurance company in US. Our company’s primary business is to create mobile applications for different industries. The insurance company has selected me in interview from my company and wants me to work for them. The application I will create will help insurance company’s client to communicate with them, get a quote for insurances, and manage the claims. I will not have to deal with calculating interest but with communication between client and company which will have the letter containing interest calculations, I will provide the channel to exchange interest rates and statements. Please throw some light on what is lawful and what is haram. Is there any part in the application which is lawful or only haram part?
(2) Since the application will developed my multiple people, I can avoid the part of application which deals in interest based communications. Is that also lawful?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 996/783/D=08/1435)

Insurance company is based on gambling and interest so it is not lawful to support it in any way. Though you will not write interest calculation but you will be intermediary by providing source/channel to the customer; so you should save yourself from it.
