How can my mamu’s house, built with his own resources, be divided between his wife and my mother?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
My query is that my mamujan passed away three years back leaving behind only his wife as he had no child. My mother is the only surviving sister of my mamu. My mamu had a house built with his own resources (not an ancestral property). How will the same be divided among my mamani and my mother?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 871/721/H=06/1435)

All the property (and the house) left by your mamu shall be divided into 4 shares, after paying due rights preceding inheritance. Out of the total, 1 share shall go to the widow while 3 shares to the only sister of the deceased person. The detail of the division is as follows:

Details:
Wife: 1×1=1
Sister: 1×3=3

Total: 4
