Can a man talaq his pregnant wife and take her back before iddah ends?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
My question to you is that if a man divorces his wife when she is pregnant, in anger by stating that talaq, talaq, talaq, does it take place? Can the man take back his wife if he wishes to before she delivers the child? Before the iddah expires? Please advise.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 347/347/M=04/1435)

Talaq takes place in the state of pregnancy if given. In case the words of talaq are uttered thrice, three baina mughallazah talaqs take place. In the question mentioned above, if it is proved that the husband has uttered the word of talaq three times in pregnancy then all the three talaqs took place and the wife became haram and their marital relation came to an end and there is no option for the husband to take her back. Now they cannot do their nikah without a Shariah halalah.
