Does touching the ground before completing the takbir annul salah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Other day, I was informed by a brother in faith that if anyone performs the sajdah (i.e. touching the forehead on the ground) before completing uttering the takbir, his/her salah will be terminated, because after touching the ground, the takbir will be counted as the tasbih of sajdah (which is not that actually). That brother heard that from a general fatwa session in a local madrasa and mentioned that the Mufti Sahib referred that fatwa from a Shaikh of Ka’baa Shareef. My question is, does the action is enough to be a cause of annulment of salah?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 353/353/M=04/1435)

The case your brother told does not carry any act which causes annulment of salah; hence salah shall not be invalid. The brother mistook in listening or understanding the ruling. Possibly the mufti might have narrated any other ruling. The person should visit the madrasa again and ask the mufti again. If you still have objection, then write the complete detail and submit your query again.
