How should the deceased’s estate be divided among his widow and 4 children?

A person dies leaving behind his wife, three sons and one daughter [1 wife, 3 sons, 1 daughter]. How shall his property be divided?

(Fatwa: 430/390/N=04/1435)

In the question mentioned above, if the details are correct then all the property of the deceased person shall be divided into 8 shares, after paying due rights preceding inheritance. Out of the total, the wife of the deceased person shall get 1 share, 2-2 shares shall go to each son while the daughter shall get 1 share. The detail of division is as follows:

Details:
Wife: 1×1=1
Sons: 2×2=4
Daughter: 1×1=1

Total: 8
