Can humans see and speak to Allah in a dream in this world?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am a thaee and I wish to get more clarifications on the below things in Fazail-e-Amal.
(1) Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal had asked certain questions to Allah in his dream as mentioned in the Virtues of Quran. Can a human see Allah in his dream in this world and speak to Him? We were not able to see such instances in the life of Sahaba (RA) or in the life of any Anbiya. (AS). How should I interpret this? Your explanations would help me in increasing belief in my thavath in-shaAllah.

The karamat (charisma) of the awliya is established and proved but it shall not be taken as argument and definite proof in Shariah. Hadhrat Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal and Hadhrat Imam Abu Hanifa (رحمہم اللہ) were the greatest Alim, Muhaddith and Faqih and wali. In this world, one can see in dreams, not in reality. Due to religious expediency much karamats did not occur from the Sahabah. However, so many miracles took place by the Prophets (عليهم السلام).
