Should we pay kaffarah for my grandfather’s missed salah/namaz? If so, how is it calculated?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
My grandfather was died 3 days back, he was suffering various diseases before he died and last 3 months he was bed retain. I want to know is there any kaffarah we have to pay for his salah/namaz which was not prayed by him on those days. If we should pay what is the calculation?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 154/115/L=01/1435)

Calculate the salah which your grandfather could not offer during the said period and pay equal to one sadaqah al-fitr i.e. 1.633 kg wheat or its price for each salah to the poor and needy ones. It should be noted that you will have to pay only for fardh and wajib salah, thus there will be six salah per day.
