Where to look during Tashahhud in Salah: lap or pointing finger?

During Salah, in the position of Tashahhud, where we have to see? Some say “in your lap” while others say “to your pointing finger”, which one is correct?

(Fatwa: 137/111/D=02/1435)

The scholars of fiqh have stated that one should see in his lap in the state of tashahhud:
كما في الشامي: (ولها آداب) نظره إلى موضع سجوده حال قيامه، وإلى ظهر قدميه حال ركوعه، وإلى أرنبة أنفه حال سجوده، وإلى حجره حال قعوده. (1/175مکتبة زکریا)
