Can khutbah be read in Tamil or must it be in Arabic?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
We have a madrasa in Kuala Lumpur which are 100% Tamil speaking Muslim. On Eid al-Fitr prayers, we will do 2 rakahs prayer follow by khutbah. We want our imam to read the khutbah in Tamil. So my question is, khuthbah can be read in Tamil or must be read in Arabic language only?

Both the khutbahs of Eid should be read out in purely Arabic language. However, if you wish you may translate them into Tamil language after they are read out. It is makrooh to read both the khutbahs in Tamil and some part of them.
