Can a pregnant woman pray?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am unable to pray after I became pregnant and there is some brownish spotting which is old blood but not fresh blood due to which I cannot offer Salah. Please tell me any ayat or Allah’s name to recite or do tasbih of so that my problem can stop and pregnancy doesn’t have complication. I am also having injections and medicines but it happens every day.

This is istihaza (bleeding, not menses) and it will not stop you to offer salah. You should continue performing salah in the same condition. If it does not bleed all the time, you should offer salah when you do not see it. If it continues every time, you may offer salah in the same condition. It is to be noted that in case it continues every time, your wudhu will automatically break when the time of salah will come to an end though you do not experience any other thing which breaks wudhu. Now you will have to make wudhu for the next salah. If any other thing occurs between two salah which breaks wudhu, then it will also nullify the wudhu.
