Can Islamic calendars with photos of holy sites be disposed of in flowing water?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
In Mizan Calendar they attach Islamic photos with it, e.g. Kaba, Masjid-e-Nabvi, and other holy masajid photos. After completion of year, some people put these calendars into river, sea or in any flowing water. Whether it is right? Please give advice from the point of Islam. What should we have to do with these photos and calendar? Should we have to buy calendar with these type of photos?

There is no harm in purchasing and using such calendars provided it does not have any picture of living being. And when the year completes, it is lawful to bury it or drop in sea after tying it with stone or some weight.
