Can a person with no halal income skip salah and still be a Muslim?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
What do the Quran and Hadith say about the following:
A person says that I don’t say my salah because I have a direct contact with Allah (SWT). What should we consider of such person? Should we still call him a Muslim?
Because according to me if the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was not allowed to give up salah how can we.
This person has no job, no business, and no property income. His income is haram because it is only by cheating people.

The person is utterly misguided and transgressor. The Prophet, Sahabah, Awliya also have direct contact with Allah but they never missed five times of salah in any condition.

Allah knows Best!
