Is market research on alcoholic beverages valid per Shariah?

I am working in leading BPO as a Market Research Analyst. We are working on Europe market research and basically deal with the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Products) products, out of this, 5-10% of products are alcoholic beverages, on which we are doing market research through database ( Previous Sales data). So I wanted to know that is it valid as per Shariah or not? If not so what we should do? I would also like to clarify that we are not selling or promoting directly, we are just doing market research on the basis of their previous year’s sales data. Kindly guide us for the same.

As per the details mentioned in the question, there is no harm in the work of market research. This job and its salary are lawful.
