Taking money from a pharmaceutical company and a laboratory

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I am an MBBS doctor. If I prescribe a drug to my patient and order them to do blood examination, X-RAY, ECG, ULTRASONOGRAPHY etc then the Pharma company and laboratory give us some benefit (money) and gift and tell us that it is our own right to take it as it is given as per their rule and regulation. If we do not take it, they take it their own. Whether it is halal or haram to take it. Please help me.

If the Pharma Company and laboratory give you the money without your demand as well as you do not ask the patients for the examination unnecessarily for the sake of money then in such case you may take the money they give you. However, this involves a doubt of bribery hence it would be better for you to give such money in charity.
