Does Quran state different duties for men and women towards their parents?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Asslam-u-Alaikum, Allah stated in Quran in surah AL-Ahqaf verse#15″AND WE HAVE ENJOINED MAN TO BE DUTIFUL AND KIND TO HIS PARENTS.”does this imply only on man not woman,I want to know the duties of woman towards her parents. Jazakallahu-khairan.

The word insan includes both men and women. Like men, the women are also asked to fulfil the rights pertaining parents such serving them financially, physically, obeying them and avoiding to hurt them. Some daughters are negligent of these things and they keep themselves away and put the burden of this responsibility upon their sister in laws (brother’s wives).
