Can I give my bank interest money to my poor elder brother?

Can I give my saving bank interest money to my MOMIN real elder brother (saga bhai) who is very poor and needy? Do we have to tell that person that it is interest money? If yes then can that poor person can use that money for any halaal purpose?

The answer to your question is hereunder:

Yes, you can give interest money received from bank to your needy brother without making any intention of reward. To avoid making him feel bad, you don’t need to tell him that it is interest money. The recipient is allowed to spend it in all his needs.
